Adult Diapers All Over The Freeway
August 10th, 2008 | Published in Uncategorized
Oh yes, You read that right. Today in Houston
an 18 wheeler overturned and spilled some
diapers all over the freeway.
I will refrain from making “leaks and spills
jokes.”
Anyway, this happened around lunchtime
at one of the busiest freeway intersections
in Houston, I-10 and 610. Probably one of
the 10 busiest freeway intersections in the US
and not too far from my house.
The traffic was backed up for a couple hours
and it made me glad I wasn’t an office drone
anymore. I know what the routine is like because
I used to do it too.
Out at 8am fighting traffic to go to a
job I hate, then out from 12-1 to get lunch at
Quizno’s or whatever lame place “the group”
has decided on, then back on the road at 5pm
to sit in traffic, just so I can relax a couple
hours and go to bed and get up and do it all
over again.
Nope. Not for me anymore.
Today I got up unusually early for me but I
waited til 930 to go out and start my errands,
Then to the coffee shop for a long spell and
to list a few things.
And back home before 3:30 to avoid traffic.
Yes Houston’s 5 o’clock traffic actually starts
at about 3:45…3:00 on Fridays.
Lame.
So the best way to avoid all that drudgery
is to figure out a different way to make a
living. And the best way is to do it, not with
one, but several, streams of income.
One of the easiest, fastest and smartest
ways to add another stream of income is
with eBay. And it’s what I show people how
to do. I’m not saying quit your job today. I’m
not saying don’t pursue other streams.

What I am saying is you can work a couple
hours a week and add at least $200 to your
income stream in that weak…up to $800 a
month without much effort.
Remember when I said you can work less and
make more. Well this is what I’m talking about.
The couple hours a week will result in some
pretty good income if you use eBay.
See, it’s all about the 80-20 rule. 80 percent
of your income comes from 20 percent of your
work.
So the key to making more and doing less is
to [eventually] get rid of that 80 percent of time
wasted…like driving to and from work, useless
meetings, etc. And maybe work for yourself some.
Make that 20 percent of munny making time get
bigger and bigger.
Ok. More on this subject tomorrow.
