The Chicken Littles Of The World

Well it’s true. There are a lot of
Chicken Littles in the world.
And no I don’t mean tons of copies
of that awful Disney DVD of the same
name that was made a couple years ago.
Ugh.
See, I got up early today and was
reading some news online. I don’t know why
I got up so early because I usually don’t.
Ah well. The point is this–the article I read said
the economy grew almost 2 percent from
April through June. Not nearly the free fall
that the Media constantly goes on about.
And certainly not what you hear from the
Chicken Littles.
People are just freaking out. It’s an election
year and this always happens in election
years. Anybody remember that garbage
from 2004? “Worst economy since Hoover
and the Great Depression.”
No? I didn’t think so.
And man are there a lot of Chicken Littles,
I had someone tell me in no uncertain terms
that I should be happy to have any sales at
all “in this economy.”
Now look. I am grateful to those people
wise enough to do something about their
situation and get my course.

But keep in mind that I provide a valuable

Simple as that. But this woman’s language
has that fear and panic underlining it.
“This economy.” Yea, right. How exactly has
your life changed? Sure gas has gone up
but everything goes up. Everything.
Most people don’t know what “truly
bad” is. Only “truly a bit inconvenient and
not what I’m used to.”
And what have you done to improve it?
Other than whine? See whining is easy
but it doesn’t get you anywhere, I used
to whine about everything the first 25
years I was alive
But you either solve problems or complain
about them.Everyone has them. So why
whine? Just do something to solve the
problem.
The biggest thing that stands in the way
is leaving your comfort zone and doing
something new. But that’s usually what
ya gotta do to solve the problem.
It’s that or stay in the comfort zoner and
complain
Don’t be a whiner. Be a problem solve.
